Once again the complexity can continue to grow, but this time there is third layer to the drawing marked in blue. This seems to give the basis for the red grid by positioning the centres of the decagons (except the central one) at the intersections of its lines. What's really fascinating about this is the similarity of the pattern in blue to elements of the main pattern in grey, the blue ten pointed star being a perfect match to the grey, but on a larger scale.
